It's time to renew your membership.  The annual Membership Drive tournament will be held on October 11.  This is a Club sponsored event that includes free entry and also a free lunch served immediately following the tournament.  This is a great opportunity for members to renew their membership and for new members to join.  Existing members that bring a new member to the Membership Drive will receive a free round of golf at Calimesa Country Club.  Annual dues are $70 but members that renew at the Membership Drive will receive a $5 discount.  Please arrive early to check in and renew your membership.  Click here for complete membership information.


The second match of the Yu-Cal Cup will be played on October 18.  There are still five openings that need to be filled.  If you would like to participate or be an alternate in the Yu-Cal Cup match please send an email to CalimesaMensGolfClub@gmail.comClick here to view the complete tournament details.


Have you noticed the Yucaipa High School Girls Golf Team?  They are undefeated in their first eight matches of the season included 5-0 in league matches.  League rivals Redlands and Redlands East Valley both have two league losses already.  Coach Adams has he eyes on a league title.  All match results will be posted on our website.


Good news!  The SCGA recently announced the launching of a rebate program for golfers who are members of multiple SCGA clubs.  Starting in 2016, multi-club members will be eligible to receive a refund of SCGA dues paid in excess of $50.  To sign up for the rebate, click here or visit scga.org/rebate for details.


There is interest from some local clubs in creating a league for the 2016 SCGA Team Play Tournament.  The tournament includes six home and away matches with the other teams in the league.  16 members will be playing for six weeks on Thursday mornings.  If you are interested in playing, please send an email to CalimesaMensGolfClub@gmail.comClick here for more information on SCGA Team Play.


The Men's Club is going to have two Member at Large positions opening in 2016.  If you are interested in getting involved, please let one of the Board Members know.


The board is working on the 2016 tournament schedule.  If you have any suggestions, please communicate your thoughts to a Board Member before the Annual General Meeting.
