  • The 2022 Spoto/Ebert Invitational in Mesquite, NV is set.  There are 72 players registered for the event!  This is the second largest turnout in the 22 year history of this tournament.  More importantly, Tom Spoto will be making it to Mesquite.  Tom hasn’t been able to make the trip for the last three years so this time will be special.  Tom started this golf trip in 2001 and has been instrumental in coordinating and leading the group as the Tournament Chairman.  We're all looking forward to Tom eating a ton of crab legs at the seafood buffet on Friday night and seeing him on third base at the blackjack table.  Click here to access the event portal to view registered golfers, pairings, and tournament results.

  • During a meeting held on April 19, 2022, the Board unanimously voted to make Chris Garcia a Member at Large for the remainder of 2022.  Chris has been an active Member since joining and is enthusiastic about promoting our Club and attracting new Members.  Chris will assist the Members of the Board with carrying out their duties.  He will also focus on bolstering the Club by taking pictures and video during Club events and posting on social media.  Chris gladly accepted his appointment and has already been doing a great job!

  • Since the COVID-19 pandemic, Members haven’t had many opportunities to congregate after tournaments to settle up side bets, have a drink, and hear the tournament results.  Having the ability to gather as a group is an important part of our Membership.  It fosters fellowship, camaraderie, and allows for celebration, shaming, and bragging rights!  Golf courses have started to open up the 19th hole and therefore it’s time to reinstate this important part of our tournaments.  The Tournament Committee will start to perform scoring after the tournament and announce the winners.  Gifts cards and skins payouts will be distributed during the next scheduled tournament.

  • The USGA Tournament Software that our Club uses to scores tournaments has granted all affiliate Clubs access to their online tournament registration feature.  The Tournament Committee will incorporate this into some upcoming events.  Therefore, please read the tournament reminder emails carefully as you may be instructed to register for the tournament online instead of contacting Tournament Chairman, Doug Owens, directly.
