  • After making it to the President's Cup quarterfinals the last three years, Josh Alesi finally closed the deal.  Josh outlasted Doug Owens in the championship match to become the 2019 President's Cup Champion.  Simi Ugapo and George Fuston take the Treasurer's Cup and Secretary's Cup.  Click here for complete 2019 President's Cup tournament results.

  • Eight Members were disqualified from the tournament played at Tahquiz Creek on February 24 for turning in an incomplete scorecard.  The Tournament Committee will attempt to refuse incomplete scorecards but the ultimate responsibility falls in the hands of the Members within each group.  Don't forget to sign and attest scorecards before turning them in to avoid being disqualified.

  • All unmaintained/natural brush areas at Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon that are not marked with red stakes, red lines, out of bounds stakes, fences, walls, etc. are played as Penalty Areas under USGA Rule 17.1.  Wood stacked black silt construction fences are found within the unmaintained/natural brush areas.  These construction fences are not boundary fences.  A ball that lies on the other side of these construction fences is not out of bounds and can be played as long as the construction fence is within the out of bounds stakes, fences, walls, etc. that define out of bounds.  Please remember that because the construction fences are in a Penalty Area, there is no swing, stance or sight relief.

  • If Members happen to snap a picture or take a video while on the course, please send it to CalimesaMensGolfClub@gmail.com so it can be posted on our website.

  • The annual Spoto/Ebert Invitational in Laughlin, NV is set.  Click here for the trip details.

  • The YTD tournament point list has been updated through the tournament played on May 5.  Click here to see the point leaders.

  • Just a reminder that the Tournament Committee will post tournament scores.  Please do not post tournament scores.  Members that post their tournament scores will result in the score being posted twice.
