  • The Yucaipa High School Girls and Boys Golf Teams are having their annual fundraiser golf tournament on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Calimesa Country Club.  This is a great event that had a strong turnout last year.  There are sponsorship opportunities, raffles, and a silent auction all for a great cause.  Click here to sign up for this tournament and support the Golf Teams.  If you have any questions about the tournament, please contact Coach Scott Adams (909-725-0486 or sadamsgc@hotmail.com).

  • There has been some interest in periodically having tournaments on Saturdays.  The Tournament Committee has scheduled one in 2016.  It will be held on May 14, 2016.  The format is a two man best ball.  There will be a shotgun start at 9:00 am.  Contact Tournament Chairman, Doug Owen, to sign up.

  • A continuing effort is being made by the Tournament Committee to be completely transparent with how tournaments are conducted.  When it comes to first place ties, the Tournament Committee uses USGA Appendix I, Part B, 10., (c) to declare a winner(s).  The rule states: If a play-off of any type is not feasible, matching score cards is recommended. The method of matching cards should be announced in advance and should also provide what will happen if this procedure does not produce a winner. An acceptable method of matching cards is to determine the winner on the basis of the best score for the last nine holes. If the tying players have the same score for the last nine, determine the winner on the basis of the last six holes, last three holes and finally the 18th hole. If this method is used in a competition with a multiple tee start, it is recommended that the "last nine holes, last six holes, etc." is considered to be holes 10-18, 13-18, etc.  If there are any questions about this or any other aspect of how tournaments are conducted, please contact a member of the Board.

  • The President's Cup is down to the championship match.  Dave Byard and Mauri Kaariainen will play for the cup the first week of May.  Click here to see the complete President's Cup results.

  • The YTD payouts have been updated as of the last tournament held on May 1.  Click here to see the updated list.

  • All 40 spots of the Spoto/Ebert Invitation Golf Tournament have been filled.  The tournament will be held at Los Lagos Golf Club in Ft. Mohave, AZ on May 21 & 22.  Click here to see the tournament pairings.  Please direct questions about the tournament to Tom Spoto (tommyspoto@gmail.com 951-906-6213).

  • If you're wondering where the Men's Club board went, it has been relocated from the pro shop to the restroom hallway.  The pro shop is being renovated and it was necessary for it to be moved.

  • The Men's Club Board has been working with the new managing partners of Calimesa Country Club since their arrival at the beginning of 2016.  The board has secured many of our existing benefits and discounts for Members.  However, it has been determined that it was time to increase the green fees.  As of May 1, Member green fees will remain $22 (cart included) on weekdays and weekends/holidays will increase from $30 to $35 (cart included).
