  • The Calimesa Men’s Golf Club and Yucaipa Valley Men’s Golf Club played for the Yu-Cal Cup on March 19, 2023 at Soboba Springs Golf Course.  The Yu-Cal Cup is a Ryder Cup style event that was established in 2001.  This will be the tenth time the event has been played.  10 two-man teams from each Club played a best net ball Nassau with a chance to win three points.  There were several highly competitive matches that were very close.  In the end, The Calimesa Men’s Golf Club came through by earning 19.5 points to Yucaipa’s 10.5 points to retain the Yu-Cal Cup!  Click here to see the complete Yu-Cal Cup results.

  • The first major championship of the year will start on April 2 with the President’s Cup Qualifier.  The President’s Cup is a handicapped match play bracketed tournament funded by the Men’s Club.  Members that qualify will be seeded in a single elimination bracket.  Members must have played in at least one Men's Club tournament in 2023 to participate in the President's Cup.  Click here to read the rules of the 2023 President's Cup.

  • The Spoto/Ebert Invitational in Laughlin, NV is just over two months away!  Those that are planning on making the trip, please download an entry form by clicking here and submit payment ASAP.  Cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, and PayPal are accepted.  The only way to guarantee a spot is to pay the entry fee.  Tim Carlisle from the Yucaipa Valley Men's Golf Club is coordinating an unofficial skins game on Friday, June 2 at Laughlin Ranch Golf Club.  There are only 24 spots available.  For those interested, please contact Tim (909-553-4985 atcarlisle@verizon.net).

  • Historically, an email has been sent out to remind Members of an upcoming tournament.  The email instructed Members to contact the Tournament Chairman to register for the tournament.  The Tournament Committee has established a Tournament Registration Sheet to simplify registering for tournaments.  The Tournament Registration Sheet provides details about the tournament, allows Members to register & select a group to play with,  and choose tees to play from.  This also provides Members real time transparent viewing of who's registered for the next tournament.  This is vitally important with the limited number of players that can participate due to golf course capacity.  Reminder emails will still be sent out approximately one week before a tournament with a link to the Tournament Registration Sheet.

  • The 2023 tournament points leaderboard has been updated through March 19, 2023.  Click here to view the point leaders.

  • As our Club continues to focus on improving speed of play, please remember that only three minutes is allotted to search for a ball under USGA Rule 18.2a.(1).  If a ball hasn't been found within three minutes, it is deemed lost.  Please adhere to this rule as this will help keep a expeditious pace of play.

  • Frances Adams is starting up the Twilight Golf League in May.  The first night will be Tuesday, May 2 at Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon.  There will be a shotgun start at 5:30 pm.  Each team will field two 2-man teams (four players total) that will play a 2-man scramble against another team in the league.  The league will continue for several weeks.  If you're interested in registering a team, please call Frances Adams at 909-795-4427 or 909-809-4590.
