- The President's Cup Qualifier has been rescheduled from March 22 to April 5 due to Morongo Golf Club being closed from March 16 - March 31. The President’s Cup is first major of 2020 and is a handicapped match play tournament funded by the Men’s Club. Members that qualify will be seeded in a single elimination bracket. - For those Members that have memberships with more than one club, the SCGA has a Multi-Member Rebate Program. It allows Members to receive a portion of their multiple SCGA membership fees. For the 2020 membership year, anyone who is a member of the SCGA through more than one club is eligible to apply for and receive a rebate directly from the SCGA for any dues they pay the SCGA that exceed $55.
- The 2020 tournament schedule has been revised as a result of Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon being closed from March 16 - March 31. Click here to download a copy.
- The annual Spoto/Ebert Invitational in Laughlin, NV is set for the first weekend in June. The deadline to pay is May 1. Click here for details on the trip.
- The USGA has published COVID-19 Rules and Handicapping FAQs on their website. Click here to view the FAQs. For those Members that are playing golf at courses that have removed bunker rakes, flagsticks or made other changes to avoid the spread of COVID-19, please follow the USGA temporary guidelines for adjusting and posting scores. Questions about how to adjust and post a score can be directed to Handicap Chairman, Doug Solano (951-966-2599 Rubicon34@yahoo.com). The Tournament Committee will make an announcement prior to the start of the next tournament regarding the acceptance and use of any of the USGA's temporary guidelines during tournament play.
