  • The first major of the year will start on March 24 with the President’s Cup Qualifier.  The President’s Cup is a handicapped match play tournament funded by the Men’s Club.  Members that qualify will be seeded in a single elimination bracket.  Click here for more information on the 2019 President's Cup.

  • The 2019 USGA Rule changes includes provisions that allow Tournament Committees to adopt certain rules that do not automatically apply under the Rules.  The Board are unanimously decided to adopt the following rules for all tournaments:

  • Just a reminder that when signing up for a tournament, please contact Tournament Chairman, Doug Owens (909-649-1963 / ddowens929@gmail.com) by calling, texting or sending an email.  Posting a comment on Facebook about playing on Sunday won't get it done.  One Member telling another Member doesn't always work either.  When Doug receives a phone call, text or email, he will respond to confirm he's received it.  If no confirmation is received, please follow up with another phone call, text or email.

  • Last year The Calimesa Men's Golf Club and Yucaipa Valley Men's Golf Club played two combined tournaments.  Due to the success of the combined tournaments, there will be two in 2019.  The first combined tournament will be on April 14 at Yucaipa Valley Golf Club.  The second will be on September 8 at Moronog Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon.

  • For those that didn't know, non-Members are always welcome to play as guests  during tournaments.  They cannot participate in the tournament or optional skins game but can be paired with your group.  Family members, friends, and out of town guests are welcome.  Anyone who may be interested in joining our Club is encouraged to come play along during a tournament to see what our Club is all about.  When signing up, just let Tournament Chairman, Doug Owens, know there's a guest that wants to play.

  • The 2019 Tournament Schedule had a slight change in August due to scheduling conflicts with Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon.  Click here to download the latest version.

  • Although the Bobby (Spoto) Longo Memorial Monument located Calimesa Country Club no longer exists, the Board will continue to vote on and honor Members that have passed.  Members will be added to the Memorial virtually on our Club website.  This year, the Board unanimously voted in Ken Ebert, Dennis Figgins, Frank Burnett, and Jerry Cleland.  Click here to view the virtual Bobby (Spoto) Longo Memorial Monument.

  • The Board has noticed that some Members are leaving early to go to their assigned holes prior to the final tournament announcements being made.  There can be last minute changes to hole assignments, pairings or tournament rules.  Please do not leave the staging area until the Tournament Chairman has made the final tournament announcements.

  • The Board is always looking for Members that are interested in getting involved to either help with running tournaments or other behind the scenes duties.  There is currently an open Member at Large position.  Members that are interested, please contact a Member of the Board.

  • Unfortunately, the annual Longo/Spoto Memorial Super Bowl Tournament scheduled for Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon was canceled due to poor weather.  The tournament scheduled for February 10 was also canceled due to rain.  Hopefully there is sunshine in our future.

  • If Members happen to snap a picture or take a video while on the course, please send it to CalimesaMensGolfClub@gmail.com so it can be posted on our website.

  • The annual Spoto/Ebert Invitational in Laughlin, NV is only three months away.  The deadline to pay is May 1.  Click here for details on the trip.

  • A few Members have interest in having golf shirts made with our Club logo.  Members that are interested need to send an email with your name and shirt size.  After determining how many Members are interested, shirt options and pricing will be sent out via email so an order can be placed.
