The Calimesa Men's Golf Club
The Club Championship was held on June 20 & 21. Paul Christianson shot a two day score of 148 to become our 2015 Club Champion. Jeff Hanson edged out Dale Andrews by two shots to become the First Flight Champion. Robert Cleland battled his brother, Jerry Cleland, to win the Second Flight Championship. The Yucaipa High School Girls and Boys Golf Teams had their second annual fundraiser golf tournament on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon. 92 players participated including several members from our club. Over $7,000 was raised between the tournament, auction, raffle, donations, and sponsors. The continued success of this tournament will ensure the golf teams are properly funded for years to come.
The fifteenth annual Spoto/Ebert Invitational Golf Tournament was played in Mesquite, NV on June 6 & 7. Doug Solano and Dan Rodriguez pulled off an amazing unexpected win. The Individual Low Gross/Low Net tournament that was scheduled for July 5 has been rescheduled to July 12 due to the Fourth of July holiday. The shotgun start will be at 8:30 am instead of 8:00 am.

Members of the board met with the Yucaipa Men's Golf Club recently to discuss the possibility of resurrecting the Yu-Cal Cup. It looks like it's going to happen with the first match tentatively scheduled for August 23 at Yucaipa Valley Golf Club. More details to come in the next few weeks.
